New Start Standardbreds:
⭐️Horse Update: EXTREME MEASURE ⭐️

Extreme was found in a dealer pen this past January. Thank you to the kindness and Generosity of both Friends & Strangers alike, we were able to successfully bring Extreme back home to his old stomping grounds here in the maritimes 🥰

Extreme spent a lengthy time with his old Racing family, The Rennison's while he rehabilitated, got his feet straightened around and gained some weight. He became a barn favorite during his stay in the Rennison's stable, and became BFF's with ELECTRIC SYL ❤️

When the message popped up from Andrea, that Extreme was healed up and ready to find a home of his own, we shared his Adoption Ad throughout the maritimes Facebook pages, and very promptly received a message that Extreme was just what a family had been searching for, without knowing they were searching for him.

This family's Percheron had lost his mate 2 years ago, and the family was struggling to emotionally replace her, but knew immediately when they saw Extreme, that he was exactly what they needed for their boy Fire.

After a meet & greet with Extreme and the Rennison Stables, the paperwork was signed and Extreme made his way Home to NB where he spends his days in the company of his new brother Fire, his Mom, Dad and Skin Brother as well as Dog siblings ❤️

In the words of Jeff, his Adopter:

"When you lose a horse you don’t realize the hole it leaves in your heart ❤️. This happened to us and never thought adoption would be an option. Enter Extreme Measure , Christina ,Andrea and the Rennison stable . Extreme came to us on September 15 and has made our Percheron Fire be youthful again . Horses need companions with each other and humans . We will be there forever home til they go to an even better place !!❤️"

Thank you Jeff, Beth and Family for loving Extreme and for giving him his very best life! ❤️ we are thrilled he and Fire have become besties and cannot wait for more updates on this mighty handsome Duo! 🐎🐎

Privilege wins the Stampede Pace! Trainer George Rennison left the stable in the capable hands of care taker Sarah Bruce while he headed to Summerside with Dusty Lane Mable. Sarah did not let him down, she gave him a training triple capped off by Privilege winning the inaugural Stampede Pace. Todd Trites had the reins for each of the three races we were entered in and won all three. They were part of his driving grand slam. George also had a successful day in Summerside with Mable's third place finish securing her a spot in the Atlantic Breeders Crown final. Ryder's trainer Bettim Special Cay also did well, coming second in his stake race.

We are so pleased to announce that EXTREME MEASURE has been Adopted!!

Extreme will be joining his very own family in New Brunswick in just a couple short weeks!
His new Family consists of his new Mom, Dad, Skin brother & Horse Brother! ♥️

We are so very Happy for Extreme and cannot wait to see updates on this guy!

We want to thank Andrea, George & Ryder along with your barn family for not only stepping up for Extreme, but for offering him a soft landing to rehab and prep for his new home! Incredible day of racing at Inverness Raceway. Tobins Chester highlighted the day for Hughes as you will read in this Standardbred Canada article. We also had some great moments starting with George driving Mable to her maiden record in a dead heat in the Phil Pinkney Memorial Stake for 3 yr old trotters. Then we had Andy Campbell closing out the card with a win in the Inverness Invitational aboard American Risk.
